Reverberance'08

At Youth for a Cause (YFAC) we have always believed in the sanctity of the saying “Go big or go home.” In 2008, “Reverberance” the charity music concert in aid of the Bihar flood victims was yet another affirmation of this belief.

It all started with an idea, an idea of standing up for something, an idea of giving back. It was a task that seemed far-fetched initially but our determination and sheer passion of making a difference tipped the scales in our favour. After months of hard work, hardships and planning this dream child of YFAC, in all its glory, was held in the JSSATE, Noida grounds, making it JSSATE’s first ever rock show. It was an epitome of exuberant enthusiasm and a personification of plenary passion. People showed their support by attending in humongous numbers. Our sponsors helped us with donations and our college provided us a platform to host the event. Everyone joined hands and came together in making this event a huge success.

A jam packed show with a footfall of nearly 1000 people and a total donation of 50,000/- to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund was what made Reverberance, YFAC’s pièce de résistance.
