Youth Summit '09 is a one day long festival being organised by the members of Youth For A Cause. Planned just before the Copenhagen summit, the objective is to showcase climate solutions available and how they are an economically as well as ecologically viable solution to our needs, entailing the societal aspects of the various problems we may have to face in the near future.

Through this we aim to sensitize people, youth of today in specific, regarding the urgency to act against climate change and other relevant issues in today‟s world and abet them to adapt a sustainable model of development. Keeping in tune with the United Nation‟s Millennium Development Goals we have incorporated most of the aspects of environmental sustainability in this carnival, taking along the Social aspect of all the goals stated in it.

Youth for a Cause conducted its first ever youth summit in 2009 to understand youth's perspective on Millennium Development Goals and what steps India must take to achieve them ! It was a huge hit..!
